This projects fence is situated between two of the clients gardens. Care had to be taken toprevent damage to existing shrubs and bulbs in the garden.

Firstly,we removed several Cypress trees,at the request of the client, and removed the existing rotten fence.

For the installation of the new fence,itwas decided,to used solid drilled 4 inch posts, as they are very much stronger than the traditional slotted concrete posts. We then bolted the rails to the posts and nailed the hit and miss pails to the rails.

This project was completed in 3 days.

Scope of Works

• Repair of original fence.
• Installation of 17 metre continuous vertical board fence.
• Fence secured by concrete multi-hole posts.
• Minimize damage to planting.

Comments

The owners of this property are keen gardeners and have some mature specimen plants in their garden. Care had to be taken to prune and avoid damage to the shrubs and plants.

the neighbours didnt wish to have the original fence disturbed, so we repaired the damage before erecting the new fence as close as possible to the original boundary.

By using concrete multi-hole posts, the fence is twice as strong as using conventional post and panel fencing. Idealy suited to a windy exposed site.

Project Time

This project took 3 days to complete.

• To remove existing post and panel fence.
• Avoid damage to the lawned area.
• Installation of 50m 7 feet high vertical board post and panel fence.
• Secure panels to gravel board to prevent movement in strong winds

The site of the fence was a distance from the site enterance. The use of our excavator and mini dumper reduced the time taken to complete this project.

This project was completed in 5 days.

• Removal of old panels.
• Installation of new vertical board panels.
• Re-enfoce new panels to prevent vandalism.
• Panels to be stained green.

Comments

This project required us to remove the existing rotten fence panels, retaining the supporting brick pillars. The replacement vertical board panels had to be hand made as the spaces between the brick pillars varied. We secured the panels from the rear with blank head coach bolts and added extra battoning for extra strength.

• Installation of a 6 feet high dividing fencing between two properties.
• Clients wanted and alternative to a post and panel fence.

We suggested a continuous vertical board fence. Though slightly more expensive than the post and panel fencing, this fence is more aesthetically pleasing. The continuous fencing is also available double sided.

This project was completed in 2 days.

• Removal of old 6 feet post and panel fence.
• Installation of 80m 8 feet high post and panel fence.
• Privacy a major concern
• Run the fence down a steep hill to the bottom of the property.

To acheive the height for this project we used two gravel boards and a standard 6 feet tall panel.
The chosen height transition wasto step thefence. Alternatively the client could have chosen to slope the transition.

• Removal of old wooden fence.
• Installation of a new 50m 7feet high vertical board post and panel fence.
• Use temporary fencing around site during build.
• Work to be carried out during the school holidays.

The site of the fence was the boundary between the clients property and a school field. Temporary fencing was erected during the build to prevent public access into the clients property. The work was carried out during the school holidays, as not to disturb the school field during term time.

This project was completed in 5 days.

• Removal of old fence paneling and support battons between brick pillars.
• Removal of old panels t rear of property.
• Supply and Installation of 30m 4 feet high vertical board fence panels.

As the supporting brick pillars and concrete posts are ingood condition, we only needed to replace the rotting panels.

This project took 1 day to complete.
